Assembly Members in the Tano south municipality of Ahafo region have praised President Nana Akufo-Addo, MCE for the area, Collins Offinam Takyi and the Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council for presenting motorbikes to Assembly members to enhance their work in various electoral areas.
On behalf of the 59 Assembly members, Assemblymember for Bofoaka electoral area, Kofi Ezor, appreciated the President for the support to enhance their work in the various electoral areas, especially deprived communities.
He used the opportunity to appeal to the government to continue supporting them with allowances because they are suffering in terms of financial impediments in their electoral areas.
The Ahafo Regional minister, George Yaw Boakye in his remarks urged Assembly members to work hard to improve developmental status in their electoral areas.
He later advised Assembly members to do away with partisan politics as far as their work is concerned and rather bring on board everyone devoid of political affiliations to help develop the municipality, Bryt FM’s Augustine Agyapong reported.
