Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Kofi Abanga has disclosed receiving a monthly salary of 350 Ghana cedis during his time at the Ghanaian giants.
The 31-year-old spent seven seasons at the club after securing a move back in 2007.
Abanga despite injury setbacks at the club played a huge role in the club’s triumph in the Ghana Premier League in the 2008/2009 season.
In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, the enterprising midfielder who controversially joined Hearts of Oak at the expense of Kotoko said he does not regret his move to the rainbow boys.
He disclosed he was earning GHC350 as a monthly salary during his stint with the club.
“I don’t regret my move to Hearts. A lot of things happened with my move which I wouldn’t like to disclose”
“I was pocketing GH¢350 as salary while in the books of Hearts of Oak,” he said.
