Odo Mu Nsem, a program hosted on Bryt FM which seeks to resolve misunderstandings between spouses (marriage) has donated assorted food items to Widow’s in Koforidua and its nearby communities.
Over ninety (90) widows and widowers from different communities around Koforidua graced the occasion and received valuable gifts from the organizers at the 2021 widow fest celebration organized by Joy Daddy Multimedia (Bryt FM).
The consumable gifts include rice, tomato pastes, biscuits, oil, drinks, mackerel, and many others that were donated to the underprivileged.
Speaking to Bryt FM news, the Odo Mu Nsem host, Royal Mama Cita stated that the donation is purposely aimed to support widows as one of the ways to give charity to society.
Royal Mama Cita indicated that the religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
“Widows are left behind as we are celebrating Christmas,” she added.
Widow’s Fest is an annual program introduced by Joy Daddy Multimedia in collaboration with Odo Mu Nsem in 2019.
After receiving the gifts, the widows expressed their appreciation to Joy daddy multimedia and the Odo Mo Nsem team.
Aside from the gifts donated, the organizers made provision for a free screening session with the aim of helping widows and widowers improve their health.
