The Presiding Member for Akuapem North Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region Hon. Asiedu Offei also known as “No Size” has presented items worth Ghc30,000 to Keneshie Presbyterian Church in Accra to support mission work in hard-to-reach rural areas.
The items donated include two brand new motorbikes, 8 pieces of men suite jackets, and cash of GHc2000 and was received by Rev. Dr. George Opare Kwapong, minister in-charge of the church in the presence of the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y. Mante.
The donation is in fulfillment of a promise made by the Presiding Member during the thanksgiving service of his late sister at the church some weeks ago.
This is not the first time Hon. Asiedu Offei, a businessman and Philanthropist has donated to a religious organization.
The 2016 independent Parliamentary candidate has contributed significantly to the building of many temples by various church Organizations and supported their fundraising programs.
In terms of Community development, Hon. Asiedu Offei’s contribution to the provision of basic social amenities in Akuapem North Municipal is unparalleled.
He has supported the building of classroom blocks, drilling of boreholes, construction of bridges, grading of roads, and provision of teaching and learning materials among others.
According to Hon. Asiedu Offei, who is a staunch Presbyterian in Akropong Akuapem believes there is more blessing in supporting the work of God and alleviating the suffering of the poor.
