Ghana has recorded 34 COVID-19 related deaths in 2022 on the 10th day in January as 12 patients are in critical condition, Ghana Health Service reports.
The death toll in Ghana from March 2020 to 10th January 2022 is 1,343 and 44 patients are in critical condition as Active cases also dropped from 11,000 to 9,020.
After conducting 2,180,320 covid-19 tests, 153,514 were confirmed positive but fortunately for Ghana, a total of 143,151 people who were tested positive recovered and discharged from Isolation centers.
As of 10th January 2022, the total vaccine doses administered were 9,004,225 but only 2,918,596 people have been fully vaccinated.
Persons receiving at least one dose stand at 6,682,196.
Vaccines available in Ghana for mass vaccination now are AstraZeneca, Sputnik-V, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, and Covid-19 vaccine Jansen.
