It has been confirmed that the suspect behind the illegal filming and sharing of a nude video viral on social media has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service on Thursday morning.
Yaw Mante, believed to in his late 50’s, according to mybrytfmonline investigations is said to be the one behind the circulation of the video involving him and a young girl, and therefore, has been arrested after some weeks of it being in circulation.
The suspect who was seen in the video wooing the 19-year old young graduate of Nifa SHS is said to have shared the video after her victim called for an end to a sexual relationship between the two in last year December.
Reliable information also has it that, the suspect, who is the biological father of the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Okere constituency, Hon. Daniel Kenneth had earlier offered to sponsor her victim’s education but was later seen having a sexual affair with her.
Despite several resistances from the mother and other members of the girl’s family, the man declined to stop dating her victim.
An insider prompted mybrytfmonline reporter that, the victim has revealed that, the man warned her not to break up with him with threats that, he (the man) has sent her to the gods and that she will die should she leave him.
The reporter also gathered that Yaw Mante has also refused to oblige to summons from the traditional authority on the matter with an excuse that the victim is his girlfriend.
