Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey is unhappy about the Black Stars of Ghana and Arsenal elimination from Cup competitions within 48 hours.
Partey was part of the Black Stars squad that exited the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon after a humiliating defeat to debutants Comoros last Tuesday.
Two days later, Arsenal were booted out of the Carabao Cup semi-final where Partey saw red in the game against Liverpool.
Reacting to the elimination of Arsenal and Ghana, the former Atletico Madrid star disclosed his love for his club and country.
“I’m responsible for anything that happened and will take all the critics. I should be more intelligent not to get in a challenge already booked but this is my personality, I like to fight for every ball,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
“I love this club and I love my country even though things don’t always turn out the way I wanted, I will continue to work harder and make things right,” he added.
