Kenya has launched the first locally designed and produced electric bus in Africa.
Local engineering talent and local manufacturing partners were utilized in the whole process according to the manufacturer.
The Manufacturer is Opibus and indicated that the newly produced bus will sell at a significantly lower cost as compared to the importation of same electric cars from outside the country.
This add up to many innovation and technological achievements the African country has been able to attain within some few years ago.
