The 2020 flagbearer for the Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor has appealed to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to call the Chief of Kenyasi No-1, Nana Osei Kofi to order, for unlawful demolishing of a police station she built for the people of Mmim , Kenyasi No-1 and its immediate surroundings.
According to the political figure, she was attacked by armed robbers whilst several complaints were made to her concerning the robbery attack, so she submitted her proposal to the District Police Commander to build the police station but the Chief allegedly contracted ‘machomen’ to pulled down the edifice without justification and compensation.
She stated that, she was blatantly thrown out of Goaso circuit by the judge after she summoned the said Chief.
“The Chief doesn’t respect, I have every documents proving that the land belongs to me, he is aware, but he unlawfully demolished the police station I constructed for the police officers to combat crime in the society. I suspect he is behind the criminalities going on in the neighborhood”, she complained.
“The judge didn’t listen to my case at all, I was thrown out of his office and was pronounced guilty, I suspect he has been bribed to cheat on me, I am appealing to the Chief Justice to dismiss him”.
She affirmed her commitment to proceed to supreme Court if the judge at the Goaso circuit Court is not sacked because she suspect a foul play.
“I am need compensation, this is two hundred acres of Cocoa land, I am heading towards to Supreme Court to seek for justice, I fear for my life since the judge has taken money from the Chief to take away my properties and also chase me with guns, I am calling on the authorities to intervene on my behalf”, she emphasised.
