Aggrieved youth of the New Patriotic Party in the Constituency of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Western North Region, have unveiled some misconduct portrayed by their parliamentarian, Hon Alfred Obeng Boateng which according to them is contrary to the party’s constitution.
Richmond Nkuah Kwarteng, the Deputy Constituency secretary speaking on behalf of the disgruntled youth indicated that the MP is allegedly creating an album for the upcoming constituency elections of which he is capturing only his (the MP) followers and disenfranchising others to help him maintain his seat in the next polls.
Nkrumah Kwarteng further said that the MP himself has clearly opined at constituency executive meetings that those who didn’t tow his lane during the 2020 election would be prevented from contesting the Constituency polls (polling station elections) and this confirms that Hon Obeng Boateng is indeed on an anti-party mission.
They are, therefore, calling on Regional and National executives of the party to call the MP to order for free, fair and transparent contest to prevent any feud among members.
According to them, they would not sit idle for him to achieve his schemed vision and mission adding that NPP cannot break the eight-year jinx with disunity.
