Isaac Asiamah, Minister of Youth and Sports says works on the Nhyinahin Multi-Purpose Youth and Sports Resource Centre are 96% completed.
He made this assertion when he visited the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with his entourage to inspect work being carried out.
According to him, the center is receiving finishing touches and is of the view the facility can host Ghana Premier League matches.
“Nhyinahin Sports Centre is 96% complete; the pitch is ready to host matches. So Kotoko can adopt the venue for the remainder of their home games” he said.
The sports center features a 5000 seating capacity stadium, football pitch, basketball, volleyball, handball, tennis court, ICT office, Counseling unit, restaurant, and shops. The edifice will also boast of a hostel facility, meeting and conference rooms, restaurant and state of the art sporting infrastructures.
