Chief Executive Officer of Joy Industries Limited and his Deputy, Dr Manfred Takyi and Dr Harrison Tetteh paid their last respect to the late Paramount chief and Queen mother in the New Juaben Traditional Area over the weekend.
The Traditional Council led by Asante Juaben Paramount chief, Nana Otuo Siriboe II held a royal burial ceremony (Doteyie) for the late Daasebre Oti Boateng and Nana Yaa Dani II from Friday, 13th May 2022 to Monday, 16th May 2022 per the tradition of the land.
The ceremony brought to Koforidua, the Regional capital, the President and his Vice, former President Kufuor, traditional leaders and other dignitaries who came to pay their last respect to the late great leaders.
However, Dr Manfred Takyi and his Deputy were not left out in the historic royal burial as they also sympathise with the family and the traditional council as customs and tradition demand.
Joy Industries, located at Brong-Densusu in Akwadum has other businesses within the traditional area; that is, Bryt FM, Swiit FM and Dadi’s Bar and therefore, took turns to pay homage to the late traditional leaders and also perform their responsibility as business owners in the area.
