Newly elected Regional Executives of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been commended for their efforts while those who lost have also been urged to join hands with the new leaders to achieve the 2024 Break the ‘8’ Agenda.
According to National Treasurer Candidate, Mary Posch-Oduro, the party’s 2024 fortune relies on the hands of the newly elected Executives who are expected to bring together all ranks and files of the party together.
In a release, Madam Posch-Oduro indicated the NPP can break the ‘8’ political jinx if only the party is able to organize itself from the issues relating to its internal elections in order to maintain the unity of the party needs.
The statement said “I would like to express my warm congratulations to all newly elected regional executives of our great party, NPP across the country. Certainly, your willingness to volunteer your time and effort, as well as express your thoughtful ideas for the party, has contributed to your victory”.
“I also encourage all aspirants in the just-ended regional elections; both winners and those who could not win to work together with all openness and sincerity to foster unity in our family, NPP, in order to break the eight (8) year jinx”.
“And, I know together, we will surely break the eight!” she added.
