Despite not hanging up his boots, the former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has commenced his UEFA License B coaching course in Wales.
Gyan traveled to the European country to secure his coaching certificate as he plan life after football.
The former Sunderland star left Accra on Saturday, June 11, 2022, to begin the course in Wales and is expected to be in class for a six-day program for a Football Association of Wales’ UEFA B License certificate.
The former Black Stars captain is without a club after leaving Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities at the end of last season.
Meanwhile, he has reiterated his desire to return to the pitch as he still holds the dream to feature for his boyhood club, Asante Kotoko.
He is the all-time top scorer for Ghana with 51 goals and with six goals; he is the all-time African top scorer at the World Cup.
