A 28 -Years old Okada Rider, Michael Bacha, who is said to get married this coming Easter has been robbed and stabbed multiple times on his body to death at Gomoa Akotsi near Awutu Beraku.
The unfortunate incident happened between Gomoa Akotsi and Gomoa Akraman road in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
Speaking to Bryt FM News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah, an eyewitness who saw the lifeless body, Cynthia Attaapim said, the perpetrators hired the deceased to Gomoa Akraman area. “Upon reaching a section of the road, they send him to a nearby bush and stabbed him several times before he died whiles his motor and belonging we’re all taken away by this unknown men”.
If we recall, a Chinese Engineer working at an Executive Stone quarry was also shot and killed in the same vicinity barely a week ago.
Attaapim explained how they inflicted cutlass wounds on him and therefore called for justice.
The deceased wife to be, Agnes Tawiah upon hearing the news was left in shock leading to her breaking down into tears.
The Assembly Member for Gomoa Ojobi -Akotsi Electoral area, Joffrey Panin Nkum is appealing to the IGP as a matter of urgency to provide Gomoa Ojobi District Police Command with more Police Personnel’s to fight against crime.
According to him, Gomoa Ojobi District Police Command, which is serving about 20 communities, has only 7 Police Personnel’s.
Gomoa Divisional Police Command is yet to brief reporters in the Division and the region as a whole over security situations with respect to recent happenings since they are newly created one after being under Kasoa Division.
