Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have been paired against Burkinabe champions Rail Club de Kadiogo in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League following Tuesday’s draw in Cairo, Egypt.
The first round of the preliminary round will begin in September and the Porcupine Warriors will hope to brush aside their opponent to progress.
Rail Club de Kadiogo were crowned Burkinabe champions for the fourth time last season.
The first leg will take place on September 9-11, 2022, with the second leg taking place the following weekend.
The winner of this tie will face the winner of Botswana’s Gaborone United or DR Congo’s AS Vita Club in the next round.
