Vodafone Ghana Foundation’s Healthfest program took place at the Asunafo South District Hospital providing free medical screening, consultation, and medication to 703 inhabitants of the area and its environs.
The team also provided National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) cards to 509 beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries were screened for various ailments such as malaria, hepatitis B, HIV, and typhoid, amongst others.
In collaboration with the Divine Mother and Child Foundation, the Healthfest initiative for the first time also provided cervical cancer screening to female beneficiaries.
