The Eastern Regional office of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has registered two thousand, three hundred and ninety-three (2,393) vehicles from January to August 2022.
The 2,393 vehicles registered by the DVLA comprise motorbikes, mopeds, tricycles and vehicles in the region.
Statistics show the DVLA registered eight hundred thirty- two (832) private vehicles, four hundred and four (407) commercial vehicles and One thousand, one hundred and fifty-four (1154) motorbikes and tricycles.
Speaking in an interview with Nhyiraba Nartey Solomon of Bryt FM, the Eastern Regional Manager of DVLA, Mr Sylvanus Markwei said the DVLA is working tremendously to improve its service delivery to serve its customers within the region.
Mr Markwei expressed that the authority is delivering smooth services to its customers as a result of digitalization over the past years.
The Contract Executive Officer at the Regional Head of the DVLA, Oduro Awuku Nathaniel explained that Ghanaians are witnessing repeated number plates as a result of replacement by third parties in the country.
