Hon. Ebenezer Okletey Tei Larbi, the Member of Parliament for Lower Manya Krobo Constituency has stated that he is ready to sell his father’s house to retain power in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
The lawmaker said he will try his possible best to secure the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency seat for the NDC in the parliamentary race.
He revealed that some people are planning to organise electorates to vote against him in the forthcoming election 2024 but insist it won’t be a reality.
‘‘Ghanaians shouldn’t make mistake to vote for the NPP Parliamentary candidate and Presidential candidate of the in the 2024 elections’’ said Hon. Okletey Tei Larbi stated.
Speaking at a campaign launch by the NDC Constituency executives in the Lower Manya Constituency, the Hon. Okletey Tei Larbi advised all members and the supporters to disregard NPP campaign messages, adding that NPP has nothing good to offer Lower Manya Krobo constituents.
The lawmaker urged all the members and the supporters of the party to stand firm as the country is approaching its general elections.
‘‘President Akufo Addo came with ‘try me try me’ in his campaign but today what you are witnessing in his administration,’’ Hon. Okletey Tei Larbi questioned.
The lawmaker disclosed that the NPP is throwing its support to some NDC constituency executives to overturn NDC stand on Lower Manya constituency
‘‘They have planned to vote against me but I will always be around in the constituency to put an end to their plans and to create awareness for the NDC victory in 2024,’’ he stated. NDC is in a serious era to win the presidential election adding that NDC needs courageous people who cannot be deceived by the NPP in any way”.
He said “Ghanaians have now witnessed the disastrous performance of the NPP hence NDC has a brave person to drive the country in difficult situations. I urge constituency executives to work effectively for the NDC party to enable the party to deliver its best to supporters and members in Constituency.
