The Eastern Regional Secretariat of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of the New Juaben Traditional Area, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III this afternoon.
The visit was purposely to officially congratulate him on his enstoolment as the overlord of New Juaben and also brief him on the ongoing Community Health Workers module being rolled out by the agency and imminent ones.
Nana Kwaku Boateng III commended the agency for striving to reduce the unemployment rate in New Juaben and pledged to support the agency in the discharge of its mandate.
The YEA delegation was led by the Eastern Regional Director, Mr. Jerry Osei-Poku with Mr. Awal Mohammed (PRO of YEA) representing the CEO, Mr. Kofi Baah Agyapong.
Tomorrow, the Community Health Workers Module beneficiaries in the Eastern Region will be inaugurated at the Ceremonial Grounds of Koforidua Technical University (KTU).
