The leadership of the ruling New Patriotic Party has issued a statement on calls by some majority MPs for the removal of the Finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta and Hon. Charles Adu Boahen, minister of State at the ministry from office.
A statement issued on Tuesday 25th October 2022 and signed by its National Chairman, Mr Stephen Ayensu Ntim assured all stakeholders to remain calm as leadership is engaging Government and Parliamentary groups.
The aggrieved majority of MPs declared their dissatisfaction with President Akufo-Addo on early Tuesday morning after the House reconvened from recess.
