The Danida Sustainable Infrastructure Finance (DSIF) team from Denmark, Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL), the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources, Project Consultants and key stakeholders participated in an inception workshop, joint field visits and technical meetings on the upcoming Aveyime Water Supply Project in Accra.
The project is being financed by DSIF and has the objective of supplying clean water to people in the eastern part of Accra.
This initiative is in line with the Danish Government’s effort of meeting SDG6, Clean Water and Sanitation by 2030.
Danida has over the years contributed immensely to the well-being of Ghanaians, especially with the provision of potable water, and support to the health and education sectors.
