Deputy Eastern Regional Youth Organiser for the National Democratic Congress, Fohad Agbenyadzi has explained further why incumbent National Youth Organiser, George Opare Addo must be retained.
He is, however, urging TEIN members across Ghana’s tertiary institutions to vote for him to help address the many challenges they face.
According to Comrade Agbenyadzi, over the years, the NDC in general, and TEIN in particular, have struggled to capture reliable membership databases, provide easy methods of payment of dues by members, and ensure adequate financial administration of dues paid.
He said the development has affected the party over the years and suggested to party delegates to consider retaining him to address the challenges going forward.
Mr George Opare Addo has earlier indicated solutions to help deal with the challenges, which are; registration of New Members- New members’ information is captured directly on the app to ease registration, membership data app to host a national membership database for information on all members across the country and introduction of TEIN ID Cards that will enable the app automatically generates standardised uniformed TEIN identity numbers and cards for members upon registration.
He has also suggested the app will again feature data on all past members of TEIN so the party can track TEIN Alumni scattered across the globe.
