Controversial Ghanaian journalist of Loud Silence fame, Kelvin Tailor has asked Ghanaians to direct their anger to the Akufo-Addo-led government, and not on the minority as a result of the 2023 budget approval.
In a Facebook post reacting to the matter, the journalist wrote that he personally has problems with the minority group in parliament sometimes, but is quick to add that Haruna Iddrisu’s leadership is right on this one.
“I personally have some problems with the minority side in parliament and the Speaker and when I have to point it out, I do not hesitate in doing it”, he wrote.
“However, the truth is, you cannot Vote for a Lunatic like Akufo Addo who has zero regard for rule of law and expect the Minority whom you didn’t vote for or never supported on any course to Save you when Akufo Addo idiocy is devouring you. You cannot eat your cake and have it”, Kevin Tailor added.
According to this is the best the minority could do, reminding Ghanaians that their counterparts in Sri Lanka didn’t wait for their minority to give them the go-ahead before they struck.
“The best of what the minority can do is what they are doing. The rest stop with you the citizens, Sri Lanka citizens didn’t wait for their minority to hold their government accountable before chasing out their President”, the journalist said.
“If you have a reservation, your anger should be directed to Akufo Addo and Bawumia”, he concluded.
