The rainbow boys on Wednesday walloped the Dade boys in matchday 14 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Benjamin Afutu’s brace and other goals from Joseph Esso and Daniel Afriyie helped the Rainbow club to beat Great Olympics 4-0.
His impressive display was duly acknowledged, winning the most valuable player in the process aftermath of the game.
“I feel very excited because I really work hard for it. I think the entire team played well which resulted in our victory” he said at the post-match conference.
Afutu lamented that things have not gone well for the Phobians as expected in recent matches but is of the view that they went into the game with the mentality of winning and nothing else which has actually yielded results for them.
