Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications director, Yaw Buaben Asamoa, who is now Alan Kyerematen’s campaign spokesperson, believes the former trade and industry minister is the finest person to lead Ghana’s economy into the future.
According to the former Adentan Member of Parliament, Mr. Kyerematen is the only NPP candidate for president who has the vision to successfully position Ghana on the international scene.
Speaking on the Point Blank segment of Eyewitness News on Citi FM, Mr. Asamoa claimed that during Alan’s time as Minister for Trade and Industry, employment opportunities were created through the government’s One District One Factory initiative. When he is elected president, he plans to expand this initiative and introduce additional ones to reduce youth unemployment.
“Alan is a game changer, and he is the one that will bring transformation, and we will move away from the IMF and the politics that we have.” He stated.
Nine NPP members, including Francis Addai Nimo, Kennedy Agyapong, the Assin Central MP, and former Food and Agriculture Minister Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, have stated their intention to run in the party’s flagbearer election on November 4.
