Handy-work trainees in Koforidua municipality have appealed to the President, Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo Addo and his government to consider them for coronavirus stimulus package in order to aid them undertake their training as the country battles the spread of the pandemic in Ghana.
The trainees stressed that most of them pay their utility bills, fend for themselves and this makes life difficult in these dark times.
“Since we are faced with extraordinary circumstances which require extraordinary measures, we would like to appeal to the government to take measures for the consideration and support us”
The government can support us at least with some package in this challenging time, hopefully, this can help us undertake our training without difficulties” they said.
As they believe the package for SME’s should be administered transparently without the usual, parochial and partisan considerations so as to cushion the vulnerable Ghanaians.
