Ten(10) persons are in critical condition, while many others are also injured in a near fatal accident which occurred Thursday evening at Gomoa Potsin stretch of the Kasoa – Winneba Highway after a fully loaded Sprinter Benz Bus with registration number GN 3680 – 14 somersaulted several times.
One of the victims who is also a pastor and was preaching in the vehicle , Pastor Isaac Afful narrated to Bryt FM News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah that the vehicle was transporting passengers car from Kasoa to Agona Swedru but upon reaching a section of the road, suddenly suffered a burst tyre which caused the driver to lose control of he steering wheel , veered off the road and somersaulted several times before crashing.
No casualty was immediately recorded but at least 10 passengers including children were seriously injured.
Ghana National Ambulance Service, responded swiftly o the scene to rush the victims to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital where they are receiving emergency treatment.
