A violent rainstorm disaster in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality has led to the injury of two (2) persons and rendered about 200 residents in four communities homeless with several properties worth thousands of cedis destroyed.
The affected communities include Antwi Adjei Nkwanta, Forwaah Nkwanta, Kuffour Camp and Nzema Nkwanta.
Two injuries were recorded at Nzema Nkwanta where many suffered a great loss of properties because many of their homes have their roofs ripped off and foodstuffs destroyed.
Some of the victims speaking to Bryt FM Correspondent Hamza Mohammed appeal to philanthropists, Organizations, Groups, NGOs, and the Municipal Assembly to come to their aid.
Mr. Asanti Agyapong the Municipal National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) officer said they were assessing the level of destruction to enable them to reach out to the victims.
He added that he has reported the tragedy to the Western North Regional Directorate of the Organization and believes that they will assist the victims in due time.
