A 20-year-old man, Yakubu Sherfiru, has stabbed a 22-year-old to death at Nkawkaw Zongo in the Kwahu West Municipality in the Eastern Region.
According to a resident Kamilo Abdul Abubakar, the incident occurred at about 6:00 pm on August Monday 23, 2021 during a misunderstanding over a Bluetooth loudspeaker device.
“The incident occurred when a misunderstanding ensued between the two over a blue tooth loudspeaker. So he was rushed to the Holy family Hospital, Nkawkaw for treatment but was pronounced dead “.He said.
The suspect was arrested and handed over to the Nkawkaw Central Police.
Upon receipt of information, Police proceeded to the Hospital and found the deceased lying dead on a stretcher in a supine position wearing a white singlet soaked with blood over black shorts.
Examination gleaned by Police investigators led by Detective Sergeant Maxwell Bamfo on the body revealed two fresh wounds on the left side of the neck and another on the stomach suggesting that he was stabbed.
The body has been deposited at the morgue.
