The 2020 vice-presidential candidate for the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), Mr. Andy Bampoe Sakjyi, has kicked the bucket.
The party indicated that the politician died after a short illness.
Mr. Andy Bampoe was on admission at the Ridge Hospital and passed on July 4, 2021.
The GCPP has described Mr. Andy Bampoe as a selfless person, dedicated, and a nationalist who had his nation at heart.
They have also extended their condolences to the bereaved family.
The week celebration would be observed at Mama’s Inn, Dansoman on July 17, 2021.
