The Head of Public Affairs at West Africa Education Council (WAEC), Agnes Teye-Cudjoe, has said the Council have put measures in place to ensure a successful examination.
To her, the Council will do everything possible to safeguard the integrity of the exam.
She continued that having a successful exam is a collective responsibility.
Mrs Teye Cudjoe said the WAEC has collaborated with the National Intelligence Bureau, Ghana Police and Council’s security in this 2021 Education Certificate Examination.
WAEC has assured that the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will be leak-free.
A total number of 571, 894 candidates are sitting for the exam from today, Monday, November 15, 2021, to Friday, November 19, at 2,158 centres nationwide.
