President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said 2021 will be the second ‘Year of Roads’, as his administration continues with its focus on dealing with the deficit in the road infrastructure.
The President acknowledged that there are still many more kilometers to be constructed and said 2020 was first ‘The Year of Roads’.
In his Inaugural Address, as President Of The Republic of Ghana And Commander-In-Chief Of The Ghana Armed Forces, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, said his administration will continue the development of the rail sector, on which considerable resources and energies are being devoted, will open up the country, and lead to the creation of a more connected society, and will, also, help realize the goal of regional and continental integration.
He pledged before the august House and the good people of Ghana that all he be doing will be for the common good, and, with the firm foundation laid in his first term of office, he shall take a significant step towards reducing the infrastructure deficit that has plagued Ghana throughout nationhood.
