Caretaker Black Stars coach Otto Addo has resigned from his role with the national team, mybrytfmonline can confirm.
The Head coach made the pronouncement after Ghana lost to Uruguay 2-0 in the final group stage match at the ongoing FIFA World cup at Qatar.
The team was with high hopes to win the game to qualify for the next stage but was crushed by the Uruguay men, making it impossible to avenge defeat to the team in the South Africa 2010 World cup where Luiz Suarez was red carded for handling the ball.
Ghana’s then captain, Asamoah Gyan failed to convert the penalty that resulted in our early exit from the tournament.
History however, repeated itself in Friday’s clash as Ghana’s captain Andre Ayew also failed to score from the penalty kick in the first half.
Meanwhile, report has revealed Coach Otto Addo is heading back to his official job with German side Dortmund.
