The Black Stars of Ghana has been handed a tricky group during the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations tournament draw.
The West African powerhouse were drawn in Group B against Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique during the draw in Ivory Coast on Thursday.
On the back of a poor AFCON tournament in Cameroon, the Black Stars will aim at redeeming their image the continental showpiece in the upcoming tournament.
Ghana will open their account against Cape Verde on January 14, 2024 before taking on Egypt and Mozambique on January 18 and 22nd respectively.
The Black Stars are yet to win the AFCON title since 1982. They have come close to ending the trophy in 2010 and 2015, where they lost to Egypt and Ivory Coast in the finals.
