The Black Stars of Ghana will learn their group opponent for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after Thursday’s draw in Ivory Coast.
The draw for the continental showpiece has been scheduled for Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Ghana secured qualification to the tournament after beating Central Africa Republic in early September in Kumasi to top their group.
The West African powerhouse has been placed in pot 2 ahead of final draw and could face champions Senegal, host nation, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and Algeria who are all found in pot 1.
The Black Stars are chasing their fifth AFCON title having last won in 1982 in Libya.
