Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana is racing against time to be fit for the Black Stars game against Central Africa Republic next month due to injury.
Sulemana has been out of action for sometime after picking up an injury at Southampton and is currently on specialist treatment.
The pacey winger has missed the first two games in the English Championship due to a muscle injury.
Despite not being active, Southampton have managed to pick four points in their opening two games.
Ghana coach Chris Hughton will name his squad for Ghana’s final match in the AFCON qualifications against CAR set for September 7 but Sulemana’s availability looks slim.
To guarantee their qualification at the AFCON, which will be held in Ivory Coast next year, Ghana avoid defeat against CAR.
