Chief Director at the Ministry of Energy, Mrs. Wilhelmina Asamoah joined the 2023 edition of the women in Petroleum workshop at the Petroleum Commission.
Speaking on the theme “Women in Petroleum: Improving Digital Literacy and Access to Technology in the Upstream Sector”, Mrs. Asamoah said the theme was timely and apt and resonates with that of the 2023 International Womens’ Day theme.
She called for the deepening of the conversation of women participation in the digital space especially in the petroleum sector as that could be a recipe for career growth and advancement.
Mrs. Asamoah further called for the need for women in the entire energy sector to come together, as she says such efforts could provide the basis for women empowerment in the sector.
