The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has settled on Togolese Aklesso Gnama to handle the first leg clash between Ghana and Nigeria in the 2024 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifier.
Gnama will be assisted by his Togo compatriots Jonathan Ahonto Koffi (Assistant I) and Wassiou Tchamolla Ourotou (Assistant II). Kossi Fabrice Senyo will serve as the Fourth Official for the match.
The Black Galaxies will take on rivals Nigeria in a two-legged encounter as they battle for a slot at the CHAN tournament.
The first leg has been scheduled for Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The match will also have a full officiating team, with Ivan Gartor Brown from Liberia acting as the Match Commissioner and Hugues Alain Adjovi from Benin assigned as the Referee Assessor. Atte Claude Elloh from Côte d’Ivoire will oversee security for the fixture.
Ghana will travel to Nigeria for the return fixture on December 28, 2024.
