As part of his plans to recapture lost parliamentary seats and also help win the 2024 Presidential elections for the ruling party, the Bono East Regional NPP Chairman Mr. Ibrahim Baba Bukari affectionately called “Chairman IB the Game Changer” has started a serious reconciliation exercise among all their leadership and entire members.
In line with his vision and mission, Chairman IB over the weekend held a historic meeting at Nkoranza with former Bono East Regional NPP Chairman, Mr. Thomas Adu Appiah affectionately called Chairman Thoomah to reconcile and bring him on board the 2024 Agenda a colorful program that was chaired by Hon. Ampofo Twumasi alias “Abɔdwesɛ” former deputy under erstwhile President Kuffuor Administration.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with the media, Chairman Bukari revealed his aim is to recapture the three (3) Parliamentary seats the NPP lost to the NDC in 2020 and even win more in the upcoming elections.
He stated that, he will take the reconciliation exercise to all eleven (11) Constituencies in the Bono East Region especially places where misunderstanding among party members made them loose the Parliamentary seats to the opposition NDC in the 2020 elections.
He concluded by pleading with all NPP members to put their differences and factions aside and work extra harder in order to make the Breaking the Eight (8) agenda a reality.
