NPP’s flagbearer Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has declared former President John Dramani Mahama the winner of the December 7 presidential election.
The vice president made the declaration on Sunday morning after most of the results have been collated.
Cloud with party executives and his wife, Samira Bawumia, the vice president was of the view the data available at the time of his declaration showed Mr Mahama had won the elections.
Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission of Ghana is yet to officially declare the results.
