Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the vice presidential candidate for the NPP, has asked Ghanaians not to be fooled by former President John Dramani Mahama’s seeming shift of attitude, saying that Mahama has not changed his awful attitude.
During a community engagement at Asante Agona in the Ashanti Region’s Afigya Sekyere East Constituency, Dr. Opoku Prempeh said these things.
After this occasion, he concluded his activities in the Ashanti Region and moved on to the Bono and Bono East Regions.
He questioned the former President’s decision to run for government again, knowing that he would only have four years to govern, given his previous assertion that a president cannot have an influence in just four years. According to Dr. Opoku Prempeh, this shows how desperate the former president was.
“Do not be fooled by the seeming change in attitude of John Dramani Mahama. He has not learned any lessons” Napo stated.
In addition, Dr. Opoku Prempeh underlined that President Mahama has not changed and asked Ghanaians not to be duped by his outwardly changed appearance.
“Why would the former President, who once stated that four years is not enough for a President to make an impact, now seek to return to office knowing he only has four years left to rule? This only shows how desperate he is.” He said.
