Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President and the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flag bearer, has boosted his campaign operations in the Eastern Region in preparation for the 2024 elections.
Dr. Bawumia met with voters in the Yilo Krobo Constituency on his tour, asking them to support him on December 7 in order to bring forth fresh ideas for the advancement of the nation.
Dr. Bawumia addressed the assembly and attacked National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate John Mahama, saying that supporting Mahama would be the same as choosing a “second-hand president.”
He underlined the necessity of new leadership and innovative ideas, adding, “If you vote for Mahama, you won’t see him again. He will go on retirement. This election, we want a brand-new person with brand-new ideas, vision, and innovations”.
