Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, in a show of unwavering commitment to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has so far donated over 25,000 branded T-shirts nationwide to support the party’s efforts to reclaim power in the 2024 General Elections.
In his latest act of support, he has provided 5,000 NDC/JM branded T-shirts to underserved constituencies, wards, and branches in the Ashanti Region.
This initiative, aimed at energizing grassroots campaign activities, is strategically targeted at constituencies and communities where campaign resources have been scarce. By ensuring that communities with limited exposure to the NDC’s campaign receive essential paraphernalia, Dr. Duffuor reinforces the party’s commitment to inclusive and equitable campaign efforts.
The branded T-shirts, featuring the images of the NDC’s Presidential Candidate, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, and party emblems, are expected to amplify the party’s presence in these areas while fostering a stronger connection with voters.
Speaking on behalf of Dr. Duffuor during the donation, Mr. Edem Antonio Asinyo, spokes person for Dr Duffuor emphasized the importance of equitable resource distribution in strengthening the party’s grassroots efforts.
“This is a time for unity and shared effort. Every constituency and branch matters, and we must ensure that no community is left behind in the NDC’s mission to rescue this nation. These T-shirts are a small but vital step in that direction,” he stated.
The executives and grassroots organizers in the region have expressed gratitude for the gesture, noting that the T-shirts will inspire confidence among members and enhance campaign visibility in their respective areas.
The Ashanti Region, often regarded as a stronghold of the opposition, remains a key focus for the NDC as it works to consolidate its base and make inroads ahead of the elections. With this support, underserved constituencies are expected to intensify their outreach, ensuring that the NDC’s message resonates across every corner of the region.
