The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Women’s Organizer, Kate Gyamfua, has voiced a strong belief that her party will hold onto power in the next elections.
She refuted predictions that former President John Mahama would win, saying that God would not give authority to someone who did not have the nation’s best interests at heart.
“I believe in God, and He knows how hard things are in this country. He will not give power to someone who does not have the country at heart,” she said.
In an interview on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem on Friday, the NPP Women’s Organiser argued that Mahama lacks strong solutions for the nation’s concerns.
She continued by saying that the NDC has been stealing NPP policies.
“We are breaking the 8. Everyone has seen what the NPP has done and can do. Since 2015, there have been prophecies that former President John Mahama would win, but he never did. So, the prophecies that he might win this year could be inaccurate.
“I believe wholeheartedly that God will not put power back in the hands of Mahama again. I believe in God, and He knows how hard this country is; he will not give power to someone who does not have the country at heart. Mahama does not have bold solutions for the country; he is even copying our policies,” she claimed.
