“It is in the NPP’s own interests not to repeat the callous acts of Ayawaso West Wagon and Techiman South in 2024 because they are not the only political party that has the capacity to do what they did” Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, NDC General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress has stated.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on TV3 on Wednesday morning, Hon. Fiavi Kwetey described the 2020 election violence as unfortunate and dared the ruling NPP to repeat the same mistakes come 2024.
There were a series of election violence in some parts of the country in the 2020 elections with Ayawaso West Wagon and Techiman South dominating the news as some voters lost their lives with others sustaining degrees of injuries.
However, the newly elected Scriber of the main opposition NDC insists the party would not leave anything to chance in the 2024 general elections and therefore dared anyone or group of persons who will be seen engaging in a violent act.
