NDC’s Haruna Iddrisu has asserted that the economic hardship in the country is unbearable and for that matter there’s a need for a change of leadership.
According to him, citizens are going through a hard time as a result of the government’s poor leadership and is demanding a shift in course under Mahama’s leadership.
Following the vote, Haruna Iddrisu stressed in an interview with Channel One News that the nation’s governance and economic structures urgently require a change in leadership.
“It is my prayer that John Mahama will win to reset the state of our country for the health of our democracy, economy, and good governance,” Iddrisu said.
“Change is not just necessary, but compelling. I trust that the sovereign will of the Ghanaian people will respect that, and they will choose change in the elections.”
The NPP government’s performance was further condemned by Haruna Iddrisu, who called it “poor and very disappointing” in every area.
He added, “We need to see change. Ghanaians must witness a transformation to put an end to the unexplained suffering caused by the reckless actions and abuse of public structures by the current administration.”
