Voting at the OA station, Nayiri, and Local Court (fire service station) polling places in the Nandom constituency in the Upper West area has not yet started as of 7:35 a.m.
Even when election materials arrived and were put up as early as 6:00 am, this still happened.
In an interview, the first person in line, who got to the polling place at three in the morning, said she was disappointed by the lengthy process.
If voting did not start within 20 minutes, the voter threatened to leave the polling place.
The sorting of electoral materials, however, was the reason given by Electoral Commission (EC) officials for the delay.
