The running mate for the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has voiced optimism in the party’s chances of winning the next election on December 7, saying that God ultimately has the final say in who wins.
During his campaign visit of the Eastern Region, Dr. Prempeh spoke to chiefs and party supporters in Anum Apapam in the Ayensuano Constituency. He stressed that Ghanaians would be motivated to keep the NPP in office in 2024 by the party’s history of keeping its promises.
Speaking to the assembly, he outlined the NPP’s many major accomplishments, including as the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) program, a steady supply of energy, the building of schools, and the massive Agenda 111 project, which aims to improve healthcare facilities.
He commended the people of Ayensuano, highlighting their determination to protect these victories by supporting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate.
Napo emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s leadership is essential at this pivotal time for Ghana and expressed trust in his ability to lead the country successfully should he be re-elected.
Additionally, he urged supporters to back NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Constituency Ida Adjoa Asiedu in order to secure her win and reclaim the Ayensuano seat for the party.
