Abuakwa North NDC Constituency Youth Organizer, Edmund Kwaku Duah, popularly known as Shaker, recently paid a heartfelt visit to the gentleman who tragically sustained gunshot wounds during the 2024 general elections at the Electoral Commission office in Tafo.
The victim, still recovering at Koforidua St. Joseph Hospital, was visibly moved by Shaker’s gesture. As they met, Shaker was deeply saddened by the victim’s deteriorating condition and the immense challenges his family faces in caring for him.
Moved by compassion, Shaker donated an undisclosed amount to support the victim’s ongoing medical treatment and appealed to the public to rally around the gentleman and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
This act of kindness is not an isolated incident, as he has been consistently providing care and making donations to the youths in his constituency since the election period. His efforts have been recognized, earning him a reputation as one of the most philanthropic individuals in the constituency.
His selfless act aims to provide some much-needed relief to the victim and his loved ones, reminding us all of the importance of compassion, empathy, and community support.
As he spent time with the victim, he emphasized the need for Ghanaians to come together and promote peace, unity, and understanding, especially during periods of political tension.
